Welcome to Corner House Caravan and Camp Site

Corner House Caravan and Camp Site is a small friendly, family run site for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents.   Ideal for families and couples wishing to explore the glorious East Yorkshire coastline.  We are located on the edge of Great Hatfield village, with the Trans Pennine Trail running adjacent to the site and panoramic views over the East Yorkshire countryside,  we’re an ideal location to explore the local countryside, beaches and attractions close by. 

We are a Camping and Caravan Club Certified Site, non-members are also welcome.   Dogs are also very welcome, we only ask that they are supervised at all times.  Facilities include large spacious grass pitches, water, electric hookups and chemical disposal.

* Please note there are no toilet or shower facilities on site.

Around & About

Local Countryside

There are many local walks and cycle routes getting you out and about in the great outdoors and local countryside many accessible directly from the site.

Local Beaches

Close by we have the vast golden beach to explore at Mappleton and the sandy beach, promenade and seafront at Hornsea.  Only a short drive further along the coast, north we have Fraisthorpe, Bridlington and Scarborough and south towards Spurn Point and the Nature Reserve.

Trans Pennine Way

The Trans Pennine Trail which links the Irish sea and North sea runs adjacent to the site and is an ideal cycle track or walking route.  The Trail is 215 miles long and runs coast to coast between Southport and Hornsea, with the eastern end terminating on Hornsea sea front.

Dog friendly

We are a dog friendly site and guests are not limited to bringing 2 dogs only.  There are lots of dog walks and beaches where dogs are permitted all year and lots of dog friendly eateries close by.

Local things to do

There are lots of things to do in the area, both outdoor and indoor, from historic destinations and stately homes to visit to family orientated days out with lots for the children to do.  You could take a rowing boat out on Hornsea Mere, the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire or simply relax and enjoy the sea air on the beach, there’s something for everyone.

Places to Eat

There are lots of cafes, restaurants, traditional pubs and places to eat close to the site.  Perfect for a casual breakfast, lunch, dinner or evening meal.  The closest is the Wrygarth Inn over the road and in walking distance from the site.  From ice-cream parlours and friendly fish and chip shops there’s lots to choose from.
